With us, the wall always comes with everything that goes with it: rigging or ground support, signal distribution, vision mixing and playback – fully planned and neatly cabled. You hire individual modules at transparent daily rates or the complete package including delivery, setup and an operator. How much does it cost to hire an LED wall?

LED wall modules start at €50 per module per hire day – the total price depends on screen area, type of setup and staff. Describe your event and we will cost it transparently; the module prices are openly listed in the rental shop. All prices plus VAT; customers who collect themselves (dry hire) receive attractive discounts.

What size do I need?

The size of an LED wall depends on viewing distance, venue and content. As a rule of thumb: the greater the viewing distance, the larger the pixel pitch can be; for conferences with short distances photon recommends finer-pitch screens, while for open-air stages brightness and overall size matter most. The wall is built modularly from modules such as the 50 × 50 cm InnLights InnScreen X4 and can therefore be scaled exactly to your space. Tell photon the venue, screen area, content and viewing distance, and photon will recommend the size and type of setup.

Does it work outdoors too?

Yes – with weatherproof modules, enough brightness for daylight and secure ground support or rigging including a wind load assessment.

Will someone come along to operate the wall?

Yes, on request: our operators take care of setup, configuration and the complete vision mixing during your event.

Does photon also deliver?

Yes – daily in the Cologne/Bonn/Düsseldorf area with our own vehicles, nationwide by arrangement. Smaller setups can also be collected from Wesseling near Cologne.

LED wall or projector – which is better?

LED wins in daylight, on large surfaces and for camera broadcasts; projection can be the right choice for dark rooms and tight budgets. We give you an honest recommendation on what suits your event – we have both in our rental stock.

How long is my quote valid?

Our quotes are non-binding and prices are calculated daily. You have 10 days to confirm informally – a short e-mail is enough. The booking becomes binding with our order confirmation. If availability has changed in the meantime, we adjust the quote first – so you never confirm blindly.

Is the LED wall also available as a mobile LED trailer?

An LED trailer is not listed in photon’s rental shop. For outdoor use, photon sets up modular LED walls: with weatherproof modules, enough brightness for daylight and secure ground support or rigging including a wind load assessment. photon recommends whether to fly or ground-stack the wall, depending on the venue. LED wall modules start at €50 per module per hire day, plus VAT; on request, operators take care of setup, configuration and vision mixing.

What pixel pitch do photon’s LED walls have?

The LED wall modules in photon’s rental shop, the InnLights InnScreen X4-HE and Y4-HE, have a pixel pitch of 4.8 mm. Which pitch makes sense depends on viewing distance and content: the closer the audience, the finer the pixel pitch; text and presentations call for a smaller pitch than pure mood visuals. The 50 × 50 cm X4-HE module costs from €50 per unit per hire day, plus VAT. photon sizes the screen area and resolution to suit the venue.
