Corporate event, concert, trade fair, gala or town festival – if you want to hire event equipment, you usually need more than a single discipline. That is exactly what photon is set up for: we hire out lighting, sound, video and stage technology under one roof – matched to one another, neatly cabled and planned by one team.
Our rental stock comprises more than 600 items: moving lights and LED systems, line arrays and digital consoles, LED walls and vision mixing, truss and ground support. You can hire individual items at transparent daily rates or a complete package including delivery, setup and technicians. Since 1995 we have been equipping events in the Rhineland and across Germany from Wesseling near Cologne.

That depends on the scope: individual items are available from €8 per hire day, while equipment packages for a corporate party with sound, lighting and presentation technology are quoted according to scope. All individual prices are listed transparently in the rental shop. All prices are plus VAT; self-collectors (dry hire) get attractive discounts.
Yes – with us, lighting, sound, video, staging and rigging all come from one rental stock, planned by one team. That means fewer interfaces, less coordination and, in the end, lower costs.
Both. You can hire equipment on a dry hire basis without staff and set it up yourself, or book our team for delivery, setup and operation – including sound and lighting technicians for the show.
Yes – daily in the Cologne/Bonn/Düsseldorf area with our own vehicles, nationwide by arrangement. Self-collection in Wesseling near Cologne is also possible.
For large packages we recommend 2–4 weeks’ lead time, but short-notice enquiries are possible at any time if the equipment is available – even at a day’s notice.
Yes: we advise on venue, power and logistics, draw up technical concepts and, on request, take on the complete technical production of your event.
Our quotes are generally non-binding and prices are calculated on a day-to-day basis. You have 10 days to confirm the quote informally – a short email is enough. The booking becomes binding with our order confirmation. If stock has changed in the meantime, we adjust the quote first – so you never confirm blindly.
At photon, every item of event equipment has a fixed daily rate, and longer hire periods become progressively cheaper. photon calculates weekly, monthly and seasonal hires individually – the longer the period, the cheaper the day. There are also tiered terms for weekends. All daily rates are publicly listed in the rental shop and are quoted plus VAT; delivery, setup and technical staff are charged separately. Tell us the period and photon will work out the tiered rate for you.
