Event Technology
How can you book event technology from photon?
You can book event technology from photon as a full service or as dry hire. With the full service, you have one contact for all technical trades – lighting, sound, stage, media and streaming – and photon provides masters of event technology, sound engineers, lighting technicians, certified riggers and operators. With dry hire, you rent the equipment without operating staff and handle setup and operation yourself. Individual services can also be booked separately.
Lighting
What does lighting from photon include?
photon plans, delivers, rigs and operates lighting for events – from individual lighting design to control and support throughout the event. Shows are programmed and run on professional lighting consoles, including grandMA3 and ChamSys. The rental stock includes moving lights from Robe, Martin and GLP and battery-powered LED systems from Astera. Individual fixtures can also be collected from the warehouse in Wesseling.
Audio
Which audio services does photon provide for events?
photon plans, delivers and looks after sound for concerts, conferences and company events – sound reinforcement, microphones and monitoring. The rental stock includes dB Technologies line arrays and subwoofers, Yamaha digital consoles and Shure wireless and in-ear systems. Wireless links are frequency-planned by photon. For conferences and congresses, photon arranges interpreting systems through partner companies. On request, experienced sound engineers handle the front-of-house and monitor mix.
Event Planning
What does photon handle in event planning?
In event planning, photon handles the technical planning and design and coordinates all technical trades, from stage construction to lighting and sound. The loading dock and lift, power supply, room acoustics and access times are clarified in advance. Technical planning can also be booked on its own; existing service providers are integrated. Catering and artist booking are not part of photon’s services – on request, photon refers partners from its network and coordinates the technical schedule with them.
Setup & teardown
What does photon handle during setup and teardown?
photon handles transport, load-in and load-out of all event technology and installs lighting, sound and stage. The crew brings equipment, tools and manpower and coordinates technically with the other trades. How long the setup takes depends on the size of the event and is planned in advance. Load-in and load-out can also be booked as a separate service, at short notice subject to availability.

How can you hire event technology from photon?
You can hire event technology from photon item by item with transparent daily rates or as a complete package with delivery, setup and technicians. Hire periods range from hours to weeks. You can collect the equipment yourself from the warehouse in Wesseling or have it delivered and set up, with crew on request. All equipment is freshly tested and cleaned.
