What does “full-service event technology” include?

A single point of contact for all technical services: Planning, delivery, setup, live operation, and dismantling. photon handles lighting, sound, staging, media, and streaming technology, including personnel, its own warehouse, and vehicles.

How early should I book?

For planned events, ideally several weeks in advance; earlier during festival season and for large productions. Short-notice requests are often still feasible depending on availability.

Do you also work outside of NRW / nationwide?

Yes. Beyond the Rhineland, photon produces events nationwide – including in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich – as well as festival tours.

Does photon also provide staff and technicians?

Yes. photon provides qualified specialist personnel – masters of event technology, sound engineers, lighting technicians, certified riggers, and operators.

Do I really get everything from a single source?

Yes. Instead of multiple service providers, photon coordinates all technical trades itself – one point of contact from planning to dismantling. If you only need equipment, you can rent it directly in our rental shop for self-setup.

How does the inquiry process work?

Inquiry via online form or phone → brief needs assessment → precise, customized quote for your event → after approval, planning and implementation. You can book equipment only directly in our rental shop.

What does an event with photon cost?

Each event is quoted on a project-by-project basis. Key cost factors include the scope of services, event size/number of guests, personnel, as well as setup/dismantling and logistics. Rental rates follow a tiered structure: the longer the rental period, the more attractive the daily rate. photon provides a detailed, transparent quote.

In which regions does photon operate?

Based in Wesseling near Cologne; our main service area includes Cologne, Bonn, and all of NRW (e.g., Düsseldorf, Aachen, Dortmund, Münster). Nationwide productions and festival tours are also implemented.

Do you handle setup and dismantling as well as on-site operation?

Yes. photon delivers, sets up, provides live technical support during the event, and dismantles everything afterwards – so you can focus on the event.
