Frankfurt is a financial metropolis and trade fair city – where demanding corporate events meet major cultural occasions. Professional sound technology ensures keynotes, product presentations and concerts all shine equally.
photon has been working nationwide since 1995 and is a reliable partner in the Rhine-Main region too. We design sound reinforcement that meets Frankfurt's high standards for speech intelligibility and sound quality.
In Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region, we provide sound for events of every scale:
That way we deliver a sound solution in Frankfurt that carries corporate and cultural events with equal confidence.
Beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia, photon is a well-practised partner for Frankfurt: we arrive with our own well-maintained equipment and plan logistics and set-up so that everything is in place right on schedule. Our experience with trade fair and corporate events makes us a dependable sound partner in the Rhine-Main region.
Which sound system do I need for my event in Frankfurt?
That depends on the venue, audience size and programme – from a pair of active PA speakers for small rooms to a scaled line array for large halls and arenas. photon sizes the sound reinforcement (including TW AUDiO) according to room acoustics and audience depth – not wattage.
What does it cost to hire sound technology in Frankfurt?
Active speakers such as the Behringer B205D start from €8 per rental day, tops such as the dB Technologies VIO X15 from €46.10 – equipment hire only, plus VAT. Complete PA systems with line array, subwoofers, monitoring and support are quoted per project; hire follows a tiered rate: the longer the period, the more attractive the daily rate. For self-collection (dry hire) there are attractive discounts – a short enquiry is all it takes for a concrete quote.
Can I hire just the equipment in Frankfurt – or does an engineer come along?
Both. For equipment-only hire, you can book the gear directly in our rental shop for self-set-up; on request, photon delivers a complete package with an experienced sound engineer at FOH – you decide how much support you need.
Which microphones and wireless systems do you use?
photon plans wireless systems for interference-free operation using professional Shure systems (including Axient) – from individual presenter microphones to multichannel conference and stage set-ups, especially given the densely occupied frequencies in the trade fair city of Frankfurt.
Do you offer in-ear monitoring for bands?
Yes. photon provides digital Yamaha mixing consoles, in-ear systems (including Shure PSM) and stage monitors for live acts and touring – including a separate monitor mix.
What matters for open-air sound reinforcement in Frankfurt?
Without reflective walls you need more power, often delay speakers, protection against wind and weather, and compliance with noise regulations – for instance at open-air events on the Main. photon plans outdoor sound reinforcement including level and coverage concepts.
How early should I enquire about sound technology in Frankfurt?
Frankfurt is in high demand, especially around the major trade fairs – allow several weeks' lead time. Short-notice requests are often still possible, subject to availability.
Do you deliver to Frankfurt – and can I collect the equipment myself?
photon travels to the Rhine-Main region with its own well-maintained equipment, sets everything up and provides on-site support. Self-collection from our warehouse in Wesseling near Cologne is also possible; nationwide productions are standard for us.
How long is my quote valid?
Our quotes are generally non-binding and prices are calculated on a day-to-day basis. You have 10 days to confirm a quote informally – a short email is enough. The booking becomes binding with our order confirmation. If stock has changed in the meantime, we adjust the quote first – so you never confirm blindly.
Whether it's a congress in an exhibition hall or a concert in a large hall – photon brings the right sound technology to Frankfurt. Tell us about your project and receive your individual quote.
How we plan and support sound reinforcement, microphones and monitoring is explained on our sound technology page.
