Lumpenpack "Nie wieder Wach Tour" 2025

01. The challenge

The Never Again Wake Tour 2025 by Das Lumpenpack was one of the more elaborate indoor productions of the year — 13 shows, 13 different venues, from Posthalle Würzburg to Westfalenhalle 2 in Dortmund. Each hall had different features: different ceiling heights, truss systems and technical requirements, which had to be reassessed daily. The core of the challenge was to create a fixed stage set with integrated lighting technology that could be adapted to any venue — without sacrificing the show design. In addition, there was the implementation of a design that combined precise projector projection onto a built backdrop with variable orientations, as well as the additional provision of sound for the guest act.

02. Our solution

On behalf of Roof Music, we took over lighting technology, rigging, set construction, video and sound equipment for the guest act. We realized Strobobibi's lighting design and technically implemented it at every venue. The Tourset was made as a special construction based on HOF MLT trusses and HOF Postdollys, with prefabricated cable harnesses, which noticeably shortened the daily assembly. Depending on the stage setup, two projectors on the front traverse of each venue played on either the front sides or the rotated side profiles of the backdrop. Three Robe Esprite combined with the Chauvet Professional Color Strike M were used as alley light towers. GLP JDC Line 500 were installed in the backdrop itself. The entire lighting setup was controlled via a Chamsys MQ250. Our team included set builders, a video technician and a systems engineer — all from one source.

03. The result

All 13 shows were carried out in a technically clean manner and on schedule. The special construction concept with prefabricated cable harnesses and standardized truss modules proved effective throughout the tour and made the daily set-up manageable even in larger halls. The show image remained consistent at every venue — from the first to the last show.
