Lumpenpack Festival Summer 2025

01. The challenge

24 shows, 24 different stages, 24 times a different technical environment — the Lumpenpack Festival Tour 2025 was primarily a question of preparation and adaptability. At each venue, there were different stage conditions and changing house fixtures, which had to be integrated into the show concept. The changeover left barely any time for this: 25 minutes at most to set up, set up and have the setup ready for the show. In addition, there were changeable weather conditions, which repeatedly put pressure on the tour schedule on open-air stages.

02. Our solution

Commissioned by Roof Music, we provided a completely pre-assembled tour set, which was compact in a single tour bus trailer and was quickly ready for use at any venue. The set consisted of Chauvet Professional Colortrike M and Martin PXL washlights, controlled by a Chamsys MQ80. A permanent lighting operator from our company accompanied the entire tour — he knew the setup inside and out and was able to concentrate on the essentials every day: adapting to the respective venue and implementing the show. With the short changeover times, close familiarity with equipment and show procedures was not a convenience, but a prerequisite.

03. The result

All 24 shows were implemented without technical failures and within the specified changeover times. The smooth tour process was also positively reported by the artist himself — feedback that for us most clearly sums up the success of the tour.
