Backstage Insights: What Really Happens When Setting Up an Event

A look behind the scenes: What actually happens before your event starts? We'll show you how our lighting, sound and stage technology team works — from planning to the last cable.

When the lights come on, the music sounds perfect and the stage is bright, the result is hard work in the background. But what exactly happens before the curtain rises? In this post, we'll take you behind the scenes and show you how to set up an event step by step.

1. Planning and preparation

Each event starts long before the actual set-up day. Our team creates a detailed concept: Which sound system is required? How many lighting elements create the right atmosphere? Which stage suits the venue?
Thanks to our experience, we know exactly which technology is right for which event. ➝ Our services

2. Delivery and assembly

It starts early on the day of the event. Trucks bring equipment to the venue — from loudspeakers to trusses to beamers and projectors. Our team then sets everything up according to a detailed plan.

In doing so, we pay attention to safety, stability and clean cable management.

3. Sound check & light test

To ensure that everything runs smoothly at the event, the technology is extensively tested in advance. During the sound check, we check microphones, loudspeakers and mixers so that every sound fits. At the same time, we program the lighting control and adapt colors, movements and effects to the atmosphere of your event.

4. Support during the event

We will also stay on site during your event. Our technicians monitor light, sound and images, react immediately to potential faults and ensure that you can fully concentrate on your guests.

5. Dismantling and repatriation

After the last round of applause, dismantling begins. Everything is carefully dismantled, packaged and transported back. In doing so, we make sure that the venue is left as we found it.

Conclusion: Technology that you don't see — but feel

Setting up an event is teamwork involving many invisible steps. Without professional planning, reliable technology and experienced technicians, a smooth process would hardly be possible.
